Which is better suzuki carry vs daihatsu hijet?

I am still new to Japanese mini trucks and looking at Suzuki Carry and Daihatsu Hijet. I am at the crossroads trying to decide between two Japanese mini trucks on which I should be getting. I need some expert advise or some guidance from someone who has owned or rode these two kei trucks.

The Kei trucks from these two are both made in Japan. And although Daihatsu and Suzuki are different companies that operate differently, it should be noted that they are both excellent at what they do and the vehicles that they are exceptional by market standards. They have been around for many decades and their tough competition has seen each of these automakers come up with excellent vehicles that stand out.

By comparison, there isn’t much separating the Suzuki Carry and Daihatsu Hijet in terms of performance and usability. They are pretty much even when it comes to the usage and also in many other aspects. Some other people may have their objective views, also depending on the mini truck model year. So, as much as it may be subjective, you could enjoy the same level of service and performance from either choosing the Suzuki Carry or the Daihatsu Hijet.

The Daihatsu Hijet and Suzuki Carry are both reliable, durable, flexible, and economical cars. But if you see, Suzuki Carrry has a lot of variants and models to choose.

To determine which minitruck model is best for you simply depends on your needs and expectations. If you just need a simple Kei truck for basic work and enjoyment, then the Daihatsu Hijet is the perfect choice. Those seeking customization to the cabin and more interior options may wish to purchase the Suzuki Carry. Both are quality Kei Trucks. Each of the models has proven themselves to be a reliable truck. The current model of Diahatsu Hijet is more in line with modern aesthetics and design. The cabin is offered in a high top. Dash options have been updated. The engine, as with most of the generations of this model, has been updated. Its equipped with a turbo engine, giving more power. Alongside the boost to power is a focus on the safety features and performance of the Diahatsu. Sensors have been added to the model to help with breaking. The overall design has become sleeker. Yet some boxy features may put off certain buyers. If you need ta good Kei truck for deliveries, agricultural use, or just for off-road use, the Daihatsu Hijet is a great option. On the other hand, Suzuki Carry is the most popular Kei on the market. Suzuki Carry’s basic model includes a high cabin. Within there are several features within, such as the 40ᵒ and 20ᵒ chair lay-backs. Also available are power windows, doors, and power steering. Depending upon the model and generation that you choose, you will have the option of either a 3 or 4 gear 5 speed shifting.

Both are used for various jobs such as commercial, retail business, or simply for a family outing because of its spacious interior and loading capacity. So I feel both will be more or less be similar to use.

Am a fan of Suzuki, I have used Suzuki carry and I feel it is better reliable and has good horsepower compared to Daihatsu hijet. But again this is my personal feeling, you might feel different. Always drive and experience a vehicle before you buy them.

It totally depends upon your needs I would say. Because there might be up-gradation and latest models in all kei trucks. But even an older kei trucks is a great choice.
