Minicab wagon 1993

I myself just bought a lower spec Minicab wagon 1993 very cheap here in Japan of course. Planning on doing the deadening but using also some silicone sealant thinned out with turps and painting it on to get all the metal bits that are hard to stick material onto. do you think silicone will work perfectly?

Hi, Silicone does a good job for heat as well. Great car but don’t go 10k rpm without loading up also 7.5k rpm is max HP anyways.
