Improving car audio

Any ideas for getting better sound from your car audio because there is a lot of road noise. Any piece of advice is much appreciated!

The sound quality inside your car can be severely affected by the road noise. Installing external sound dampeners on doors, floor, boot etc will help in keeping your interiors quiet. It's very important to have sound dampening materials such as insulation sheets or spray foams stuffed into hollow spaces inside car doors. It will make sure that you listen only to music when it is played in your car. You can also try upgrading your receivers and/or speakers/amplifiers, if you are still not satisfied with the output. Its always best to have an expert install your car audio system, though. He knows best and can give you a rich experience.

Other than the sound deadening material to cancel the outside noise one should carefully select the music system for your car.  One should not max out the tone controls.  It is better to use a digital to analog converter, higher quality music files, adding an amplifier, a subwoofer, an outboard equalizer and of course high quality cables.  All this will definitely improve your music experience and prevent ear fatigue.

I too had a thought about it. But earpods cost even lesser than this!

Installing external sound dampeners are of great help for those who thinks to reduce the road noise while driving.
