Adding steel bumpers can be great idea for further safety of kei trucks.

Great! Adding wheel spacers would also be helpful along with it.

Additional safety features is certainly worth the extra money. Minitrucks equipped with advanced safety features will have most certainly fewer insurance claims than minitrucks that aren't equipped with them. These extras are available online in eBay as well as Amazon.
