Engine of a Daihatsu hijet keeps overheating

I have owned a Daihatsu hijet for over 3 years now I have learnt some of the quick fixes but this one seems to be new. My engine keeps overheating after a couple of hours and I don't know how to troubleshoot this. Any expert to help here?
