Are suzuki carry street legal?

There is a lot to learn as far as street legality of the Japanese mini trucks is, in different countries and states. I really need to get a good understanding and coverage as to whether the Suzuki Carry is street legal in US states and whether there are any other limitations that come along with it.

Mini trucks like Suzuki Carry that are 21 years or older are exempt from EPA restrictions, and those older than 25 years are exempt from DOT regulations. Most states in USA do not have any specific laws governing the use of Japanese mini trucks on public roads and is prohibited on state roads. But these states do allow limited or incidental use of mini trucks on public highways. It is better to contact the state public transportation department and find out what those limitations are for your mini truck.

Not on all states of US. You can drive mini trucks in most states if they are over 25 years old.

Even in states where it is legal to drive Suzuki Carry, they are not permitted on the highways.

You can use the city roads and can operate them in your farms, factories, etc. But it's restricted from operating on the Highways. 25 years + old vehicles fall under Vintage models and have fewer restrictions.

The rules are same for all kei trucks. In some states of US, they are legal for off road purposes but now on highways.
